About James
Andrew James McCall, LPC, NCC, received his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Columbia International University (expected December 2026). His dissertation examines intimate partner violence among Southern religiously affiliated women through a qualitative research lens.
He holds a Master of Arts in Counseling (Marriage, Couple, and Family) from Messiah University and a Master of Divinity (Ministry Leadership and Pastoral Counseling) from Columbia International University.
In his clinical practice, James is a Licensed Professional Counselor with an active caseload of 20–30 clients at Bridge of Hope Counseling Center. He is also the founder and clinician at McCall Counseling and Consulting Services, working with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan.
James is an active member of the Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors (ACES) and contributes to scholarship in counselor training and cultural humility in supervision.
